Students should be reading nightly for at least 20 minutes. Reading out loud to an audience is recommended so students can practice fluency as well as practicing their use of expression. If an audience is not available students can video tape themselves and they can watch themselves read.
Some students have brought home a home reading program. Please have students read both books each night and return them on Mondays to trade for new ones.
